I like it when you smile ... I love it when I'm the reason.
If you read Part 1 of our London Date Night Ideas you will be fully booked until the end of Summer. Ok probably not, but hopefully you found some date ideas that you love. I'm here to throw some more great ideas into the mix. Again apologies for the film and food based list. Spoiler just like the last post this pic wasn't taken in London. This time it was taken at Loch Tay, Scotland.
Rooftop Film Club- With three destinations across London Peckham, Shoreditch and Stratford. They're showing a HUGE range of Films from throwback films like Mean Girls and Modern Day Classics like Drive. Pretty much everything in between so you will satisfy everyone's film tastes. I'd love to do this but I think that the London skyline will be very distracting, but that is a good thing I think its just adds to the experience.
Columbia Road Flower Market, every Sunday- This is somewhere that I have always wanted to go, it is supposed to be one of London's most vibrant markets. People sell flowers that they have lovingly chosen to grow or import from abroad. I love everything flower based so this is always going to be on my list!
Longines GCT London 3rd - 5th August-Pizzas Tickets website. Whether you are a pony lover like myself or just looking for something different then this is a fabulous day out. We catered the event last year and it really only had one word to describe it is fabulous. The weather was incredible, the go on sale soon, you can sign up for an email alert on their weren't bad either and of course the showjumping was nail biting. The venue was beautiful and the perfect backdrop for these amazing courses. You get to watch Olympians and International Show Jumping Superstars racing against the clock.
Bottomless Brunch, London- There is always going to be a time when you end up needing to make last minute plans. Don't get me wrong you may not be able to book your top choice but there are so many places that do Bottomless Brunch now so you will definitely be able to book somewhere! You can't go wrong with a day sesh and most brunches are fantastic value for money, which is a second reason I love boozy brunches! Check out this Post from Secret London for some ideas.
Crazy Golf - Apparently Londoners are obsessed with Golf there are so many places to choose from. Having a choice is fab, you get to find the option that suits you the best. For me I'll look at the Food, the drink and the general atmosphere. My top choices are Swingers Golf, both options look fab, Junkyard Golf, Plonk Golf has had Crazy Golf courses plonked into Pubs with numerous locations in London.
Borough Market Picnic- I remember the first time I visited Borough market and it was amazingly overwhelming. Every corner that you turn you come across a new edible delicacy. Everything is the highest of quality and you know that every morsel you eat has been made with love. Why not buy yourself all of the ingredients for an epic picnic and take a wander/tube ride to your favourite London Park. This is the perfect solution to v last minute sunshine plans!
Sipsmith Gin Distillery Tour- Ben and I are big Gin fans, plus we are food and drink geeks. So any chance we get to drink and learn we are there with bells on. On our recent holiday we did a Wine Tasting at we LOVED IT! Their tours run every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. If you want an even more immersive Gin experience they do a special Sipper Club every Tuesday where you get a gin filled four course dinner.
Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the year- I love the Natural History Museum but for me there is only so many times you can walk around it! Thankfully they have the photography Exhibition that shows off the best Wildlife Photographers of the year. This exhibition is open until the 1st July 2018. As a family we love animals and as a company we give 5% of our profits to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Ben and I are planning our Honeymoon and part of it is going to be a Safari, so wildlife photography is a major passion of ours.
Architecture Tour -Spend the day hopping on off the Tube to take a trip of London's most impressive architecture. Both my Dad and Grandad were architects so I have been brought up loving buildings, they are a form of art, so like with all art peoples opinions will differ. Google London's buildings and make your own architectural treasure map. Personally I love both old and modern architecture so I would have a mixture of buildings from St Pauls to the Shard. To take your hunt to the next level make sure you search out places to stop for snacks and meals, you don't want to be hangry whilst exploring trust me!
Doggy Day Out - I couldn't mention a list of Date Ideas without having one with our Fur Baby/mascot Brody. 47% of London is Green Space so in between your exploring you have lots of choices for them to let off some steam! You can bring your Pup with you to many of the dates we have suggested above. A lot of markets are dog friendly so you could head to Columbia Road Market, Portobello Market, Spitalfields , to get some treats for you and your Pup to enjoy a picnic. Or what a brilliant excuse to walk around London, why not take your Fur Baby on your architectural tour. Make your food stops dog friendly Cafes and restaurants with some very fancy options like the York & Albany or or the more down to earth options like The Pear Cafe, Battersea Park.
